AXE I/O ONE offers a simple, streamlined setup for Tone Modeling and re-amplification. Use the Amp Out to create a virtual Tone Model of your amp, cab, or pedals including distortion, overdrive, EQ, Fuzz, and boost. The Amp Out can also be used as a standard re-amping output for even more creative options.

AXE I/O ONE’s main channel offers 3 different circuit topologies. This gives you three different options to dial in the perfect tone for any type of guitar pickup or style.

The PURE setting offers a completely transparent and ultra-accurate instrument preamp that won’t color your sound in any way.

Switching to the Class A JFET input buffer adds midrange focus, warmth, and harmonic enhancement, giving you more tonal options from the same instrument.

ACTIVE pickups don’t require a Hi-Z input, so this setting bypasses unnecessary gain stages to keep your signal path as direct, transparent, and clean as possible.

AXE I/O ONE’s patent-pending Z-Tone™ circuit lets you go from a tighter/sharper tone to a thicker bolder tone with a simple twist of a dial. Z-Tone changes the impedance from 1 MΩ (“sharp”) down to 2.2 kΩ (“bold”) giving you the ultimate freedom to dial in the perfect feel and tone from electric guitar and bass pickups.

AXE I/O ONE offers a PURE mic preamp designed for a transparent and clean recording. The mic preamp offers a wide, flat frequency response: 9 Hz to 45 kHz, ± 0.5 dB (at 96 kHz) to avoid unwanted coloration and perfectly preserve the sonic character of your voice, acoustic guitar, piano, or other instruments.

It's also ideal for capturing your rig with IK's groundbreaking TONEX AI-based Tone Modeling software. With both AmpliTube 5 SE and TONEX SE included you'll have everything you need to record, model, and play right out of the box, plus AXE I/O ONE works with all your favorite recording applications.

AXE I/O ONE offers a range of useful features including dedicated controller inputs that let you connect up to two expression pedals or two single/double switches to control AmpliTube, or any other software, in real-time without putting your hands down. You can also use AXE I/O ONE’s MIDI input and output to connect floor controllers or iRig Stomp I/O to add even more real-time controls - or use it with regular keyboards and other standard MIDI gear.
