What we say:
At A Glance:
The Fender Vintera III Late '60s Stratocaster Rosewood Fingerboard Ocean Turquoise brings together the best of vintage and modern Fender! If you've been searching for a classic style Fender with real vintage specs this might just be it. 60's specs all around from the neck to the pickups and even the colour. As if a Late 60's Strat jumped right off the production line to the modern day. While this may be spec'd exactly like a Late 60's Strat though, the quality is exactly what you expect from a modern Fender. A classic alder body, a maple neck with a laminated rosewood fingerboard and large style headstock, and fantastic playability to go along with the classic tones. If vintage is your style, this is your guitar!
Features We Love:
Late 60's Pickups
There have been many eras of Strat pickups throughout the years each with their own dedicated following of fans. The Late 60's pickups in particular capture their own sound and Fender have carefully crafted a set of single coils to give you the sound that has graced so many classic songs in our time. The Late 60's Strat pickups are characterised by their punchy midrange, flanked by a warm low-end, and an articulate high-end.
Late 60's Neck Shape
Throughout the history of the Strat it has undergone many changes and in the early days while it was already an icon, one could say it was still finding its footing. Early 50's guitars tended to have chunkier D shape necks, and early 60's necks fall closer to the slim C we associate with modern Strats. The Late 60's on the other hand keep the familiar C shape but with a slightly thicker profile than early 60's necks. This is great for players who love a neck with a bit more substance to it. With this Late 60's style neck Fender have also included the larger Strat headstock
Vintage Spec, Modern Quality
When it comes to buying guitars the quality has never been better which means buying a vintage style guitar has never felt better! The Late 60's Fenders are the dream for many players and Fender have distilled many of the aspects which make these guitars so revered down in to this series. Combined with their fantastic and renowned quality from their Mexico factory what you end up with is a guitar that has the look, feel, and sound of an iconic 60's dream guitar with all the quality modern Fender are known for.
Who Is It For?
