Nicknamed "The Workhorse" this iconic design has become the cornerstone of Gibson's Round-Shoulder, Dreadnought line. Renowned for its full, well balanced sound, thick bass tones, and great projection, the J-45 is the go-to for artists the World over! The LR Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system means the guitar can be plugged in, making it a perfect choice for live playing. This pickup system has been designed collaboratively between LR Baggs and Gibson to deliver unparalled incredible clarity, amplifying the natural voice and dynamic range of the guitar.

Features We Love:

Slim Taper Neck Profile

The neck profile of a guitar is greatly important to how it feels when playing. The Slim Taper shape on this model offers comfort for the player and gives access to higher frets allowing you to make the most of this instrument! However, this is a Gibson after all, although named 'Slim Taper' there is still plenty to grab on to.

LR Baggs HiFi DNA Pickup

The LR Baggs HiFi DNA acoustic system uses two next-generation sensors with their own dedicated custom-voiced studio quality Class A preamps. This helps to maintain the purity and articulation of each pickup before they are blended together for a perfectly voiced output. The result is even more clarity and a stunning HiFi sound which captures even more of the natural voice, nuances and dynamic range of your guitar. Thanks to how lightweight and small the system is it doesn't impact your acoustic tone in any way.
