Fender Deluxe Series 10ft Straight/Angled Instrument Cable, Tweed

Cable works well. Nice solid cable.

Good quality and reasonably priced cable. I'm using it to hook up my synth to an amp. It has an integrated and non-removable velcro cable tidy, so it'll be easy to keep the cables tidily wrapped up post-gig. The sheaf is fabric in a gold/black tweed-style pattern and feels of good quality and the colour isn't too intense so looks more elegant than loud, like some other cable colours (neon). The terminations are gold-plated and have plastic between the cord and the plugs. MY only reservation is the plastic body appears not to have any way of accessing the connectors underneath, unlike some screw-style cables, so if any soldering between the cable and terminals comes loose, it doesn't appear to be repairable - a new cable would be required. Overall, it appears to be a good cable for a fair price - hoping for many years of music with it!

Although this was only popping in for a guitar cable, the shop in Camden has some tremendous staff and I have a great relationship with a number of them. It's always welcoming and never a pressurised sales environment. I've bought new and secondhand guitars there for years. Great shop !

Same great cable as always, but feels lighter compared to my older identical cables. Maybe some stealthy shrinkflation tactics by Fender.
