What we say:
At A Glance:
The Deluxe Brighton is a sleek double-cutaway model that boasts a versatile range of tones, great playability and D'Angelico's signature flair. Finished in a handsome Matte Walnut, the Deluxe Brighton has been designed to aid fast and fluid playing. Thanks to the guitar's curvy body with access to the highest frets and the neck's natural satin finish, plus the Seymour Duncan pickups with coil-splitting, this truly is a player's guitar without losing any of D'Angelico's trademark deco aesthetic.
We love this guitar's vintage style and think it would make a great investment for a student guitarist or a regular gigging guitar for professional musicians.
Features We Love:
Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 Pickups
Seth Lover was a celebrated musical instrument and amplifier designer, one of his most notable inventions was the game-changing Patent Applied For humbucking pickup. The Seth Lover pickup was developed as a collaboration between Lover and Seymour Duncan as a re-creation of the original PAF humbucker, offering the same hum-cancelling and rich edgy tone as the original. This guitar features the Seth Lover A4 set, made with an Alnico 4 magnet which was popular during PAF's production in the '50s.
The humbucker pickups can also be split to achieve single-coil pickup sounds, giving the guitar access to those magical shimmering single-coil tones.
Natural Satin Set Neck
While some guitars use a glossy neck which can feel sticky, especially after long periods of playing, the Deluxe Brighton's neck is made with a natural satin finish. The smooth natural wood finish never feels sticky or gets in the way of your playing, allowing for quick changes across the fretboard at high speed.
Slim-C and Modern Radius
The use of a set neck with a "C" profile and a 14-inch fingerboard radius makes this an incredibly easy guitar to play, even for smaller players, without compromising sustain or tone.
Highlights:
- Satin neck allows for swift chord changes and soloing
- Quality build and tones makes this an ideal option for gigging guitarists
- Hardtail construction and locking tuners offer great tuning stability
