Rosewood has always been considered a superstar tonewood, and that remains true when it's paired up with a nylon-string configuration as in this 712ce-N. A Grand Concert acoustic-electric featuring a soft cutaway, this nylon-string model combines the warmth and resonance of solid Indian rosewood with the springy sweetness of its Lutz spruce top, for a tone that produces rich low-end overtones and clear, chime-like high notes.
