About Schecter C-6

Schecter C-6 is an electric guitar made by Schecter with a thick double cutaway flat top body, a carved top with a bevel edge and a bolted-on neck. The C-6 normally has two Schecter Diamond Plus humbucker pickups and a tune-o-matic hard tail bridge, though models also exist with licensed Floyd Rose tremolos. The Schecter C-6 is primarily a rock guitar, with a thin C neck shape and a flat fretboard radius to accommodate technical styles. The C-6 is offered in a number of variations such as Plus and Deluxe versions, some of which offer figured ‘maple image’ tops and translucent finishes.

Schecter C-6 is an affordable, entry level take on the Schecter C-1. The thick body shape with its top contours and choice of through body bridge or locking tremolo really put this model on the map for players who want quality on a budget. It isn’t just 6 string guitars either: the C-6 Deluxe is available as a 7 string and an 8 string model too! Performance and value for money are excellent here and the headstock proudly displays the full Schecter logo.
