Yamaha F Series

Yamaha F Series are acoustic guitars that offer quality, good sound, tone and affordability. Due to their fantastic valve they have become a favourite choice for guitar players who are just starting to learn the instrument. Yamaha F series have three main models, these are; FS, FG and FGX. The FG models are Yamaha's take on a classic dreadnought acoustic and have been in Yamahas production constantly from the 1960s.The FGs feature solid spruce tops and either mahogany or rosewood back and sides for quality tone and effective strumming sounds.

The FS are more manageable and slightly smaller in size to a traditional dreadnought. Their folk sized bodies present easy handling and comfortable playing which is perfect for younger players with smaller hands but also great for intermediate to upper level finger-picking style players. Any technique can be handled by these guitars but on this case fingerpicking styles really shine with a great feeling neck for better overall play.

The FGX models are the electro acoustic version of the FG guitars, giving more variety to series as they include excellent sounding electronics. Making it easily to plug in for live performance, recording or open mic nights.
