About Yamaha L Series

Yamaha L Series offers players a collaboration of traditional and modern features. As Yamaha had used their half-century of experience and knowledge in making acoustic guitars to produce a series which displays timeless original good looks and played-in stage ready sound.

The Yamaha L series guitars are built with notable tonewoods, using Solid Engelmann Spruce for the Tops that have undergone Yamaha's A.R.E treatment. Using A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) a process of controlled pressure and temperature, this treatment gives new guitars a rich and mature tone, improved high-end response, clarity, and a familiar played-in sound, straight out of the box. All acoustic guitars in the Yamaha L series have this exceptional feature, making for superior playability and sound. Paired up with a 5 ply neck made from alternating layers of mahogany and rosewood, The Yamaha L series packs a punch with an all over strong and stable design.

Another great modern feature of these guitars are the new SRT Zero Impact Pickup system and preamp system. This specialized, passive undersaddle piezo pickup aims to provide a strong, natural-sounding amplified tone by using individual pickup elements for each string, creating a more dynamic and realistic sound.

The Yamaha L Series acoustic guitars are available in different body selections, such as, a full-sized LL body, Concert-style LS body or Grand Auditorium-style, giving good options to choose from.

Why Should I Choose Yamaha L Series?

  • Balanced and clear tone
  • Solid wood construction
