What makes a good electric guitar?

An electric guitar is good when it feels and looks good to you. Keep in mind what you enjoy listening to and the styles of music that you will spend most of your time playing. Short answer, no. Neither is easier or more difficult than the other. The key here is to play the instrument you are most passionate about. This will motivate you to keep practicing - and practice makes perfect!
