How long does it take to learn guitar?

How quickly do you want to learn? For some it takes weeks practicing several hours a day, and for others it can take a few months to get the hang of it at a slower, steadier pace. How many strings does a guitar have?

Standard electric and acoustic guitars have six strings. Basses come with four. Variations include seven stringed electrics, twelve string acoustics, five string basses and more. The extra strings are there to provide a wider range of sounds for different styles of playing or genres of music.

How much does a good guitar cost?
