Custom-Designed Transducers
The proprietary transducers have been designed to work with the speaker's cabinet to offer a pronounced sound with minimal distortion.
2-Channel Mixer
The onboard two-channel mixer features a pair of combination XLR/TRS inputs, two RCA inputs and an XLR output. Making the DHR a versatile speaker that's easy to use as part of a PA system, or simply to plug a microphone into for presentations. The mixer also makes it possible to mix a stereo line-level input, which could be from a DJ set up and send that mix to another speaker to form a full system.
D-Contour
The speaker also features Yamahas D-Contour DSP processing that enhances the speaker's frequency response to work as a front of house speaker, or as a floor monitor. The DSP also allows for high pass filtering for when you use the speaker with a sub.
As a Monitor
While the DHR12M can be mounted on a pole and used for front of house sound, it excels as a floor monitor. DHR12M is the first Yamaha speaker to feature a coaxial compression driver, which offers improved clarity and a smoother frequency response that benefits on-stage monitoring.
Portable
With its compact size and weighing under 17 kilograms, the DHR12M is easy to transport.
