For 2025, we’re expanding our family of U.S.-made, all-solid-wood 12-string guitars with a handful of inspiring new models featuring our comfortable, player-favorite cutaway Grand Auditorium body—a shape that has been underrepresented among our 12-strings in recent years. The Grand Auditorium’s mid-sized dimensions give it a musical versatility that translates well into a 12-string configuration—big enough to produce a full voice with pleasing depth, while also articulate and balanced in a way that showcases the rich octave detail. It also tracks well for recording and fits superbly in a mix with other instruments.
Voiced with our tone-enhancing V-Class bracing, these new models are offered in several wood pairings across four series in our line: the sapele/spruce 300 Series, the Indian rosewood/spruce 400 and 800 Series, and the Honduran rosewood/Adirondack spruce Presentation Series.
We’re growing our family of Indian rosewood/Sitka spruce 400 Series guitars with the introduction of the 454ce, available with either a natural or sunburst top. Both versions feature a full-body gloss finish, Finial inlays, white binding, Taylor nickel mini tuners, an agoya shell rosette and a faux tortoiseshell pickguard.
