The Gibson SG Standard is a guitar that is instantly recognisable and is immediately associated with some of the greatest rock acts of all time. Originally introduced as a new Les Paul model back in 1961 it was renamed the SG in 1963 and ever since it has been available in some form or another. With a much thinner body than what you would find on a Les Paul the SG has quite a different sounds offering up a punchier mid-range which is what makes it so popular with rock artists to this day that like to use higher gain sounds with that extra bit of mid bite that helps them cut through a mix.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: In great condition with very minimal signs of wear/use. One small impression next to the jack socket, but has not scratched the finish.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
