The 2455 features a full hollow body design arched spruce top body with ƒ holes and selected flamed maple on back and sides, with a single Florentine cutaway mated to a set-in hard laminated maple neck with a 20-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with pearl block position markers, white bound edges, and black side dots. Components include a wooden bridge with a gold-plated T-bar trapeze tailpiece, a pair of Super 70 humbucking pickups, a tortoise shell pickguard, and Smooth gold-plated machine heads.
