About the ESP Eclipse
The ESP Eclipse has a long history stretching back to 1987 where many will be surprised to find the guitar started as a T-style shape as opposed to it's current standing as a sleek singlecut style guitar. The Eclipse name was carried over to the new singlecut shape in 1993 and the series has gone on to be a huge success particularly for rock and metal genres.
The ESP Eclipse has many features we would associate with the single cut style such as a mahogany body, a mahogany set neck, dual humbuckers, 24.75" scale, and a Tune-O-Matic style bridge. The Eclipse guitar comes in a variety of different styles at different price ranges under the LTD name and the ESP E-II name. All models provide a quality sound and feel perfect for rock and metal styles. For those who lust after the original T-Style Eclipse you can also grab the '87 Reissue model.
