Ibanez made the Gio range in order to supply all guitarists with a good quality rock guitar that would sound good and be reliable but also be very affordable. Importantly, it proudly displays the Ibanez logo on the headstock, not some other name for a cheaper range. This proves that Ibanez are serious about their commitment to making this an affordable range of real quality. The 121 model loses the pickguard for a more radical 80s hard rock look. This is further emphasised by the aggressive sharktooth inlays and binding on the fretboard. Equipped with a pair of humbuckers that mean business, you are all set for metal.

Humbucker Pickups

Condition Report
Has a scrape in the finish on the reverse of the guitar on the upper edge of the lower bout. There are also some light signs of wear in the satin finish below the pickups and on the reverse.
