It pays tribute to Gibson’s Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 60s Faded with ’57 Classic Underwound features a beautiful satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that gives it an unmistakable vintage vibe and the look and feel of a long-treasured musical companion. It has a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, providing classic flame-top Les Paul visual appeal. The mahogany neck features a fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile for a comfortable playing experience that is well-suited to players with smaller hands. The neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard that is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with acrylic trapezoid inlays. The fretboard has a 12” radius, so it’s comfortable for first-position chords, and lead lines played higher up the neck won’t fret out.

The Les Paul Standard 60s Faded with ’57 Classic Underwound is outfitted with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and a Graph Tech® nut.
