Fantom-7 is Roland's flagship machine for music production and performance. Built to be musical every step of the way. Sound creation, song writing, sequencing and performance playing can all be executed with ease.
Sampling
Sample directly on to the Fantom to create fully polyphonic instruments from a single sampled note, or sample multiple notes to create your own detailed multi-sample instruments of up to 4 layers of samples at once. There is a huge 2GB of memory for user samples, so plenty of space to create your own unique instruments whilst maintaining the rapid 40 second boot up time.
Expansion Packs
The Fantom has 16 virtual expansion slots for sound packs downloaded from Roland Cloud, covering all kind of instruments from classic Roland libraries like SRX and SuperNatural as well as a growing number of Zen-Core sound synth tone packs.
Hi-Res SuperNatural Acoustic Tones
Load your Fantom with 24bit 48Khz SuperNatural tones covering Acoustic and electric pianos, strings, solo brass, woodwinds, harps and bass for ultra-realistic instrument tones with behaviour modelling. Download and install into your Fantom from Roland Cloud.
32-Band Vocoder
Connect a microphone up to the Fantom to use your voice with an excellent 32-band vocoder.
Pattern Automation
Use your finger on the touch screen to draw in automation of parameters within the piano roll editor on patterns like filter sweeps and other CC messages.
