For the Stingray Special, Music Man have really refined their choices of tonewoods and hardware. The overall build and construction of this guitar has been streamlined, resulting in the same classic Stingray look and sound, but with a lightweight feel that's geared towards lasting performance.
Neodymium Pickups
Kitted out with a Neodymium humbucker in the bridge, the Stingray Special pulls no punches when it comes to it's killer sound. Neodymium magnets provide a larger output and a wider range of sounds, making this an excellent all-rounder.
5-Bolt Sculpted Neck Joint
Optimised for pure performance and comfort, the neck joint has been carefully sculpted to provide truly unrestricted access to all 22 frets on the fingerboard. Improving the ergonomics of a guitar is a sure-fire way to improve playing performance!
