The Nick Johnston Traditional is a stellar example of what's possible through a partnership with Schecter.

Canadian virtuoso Nick Johnston made a splash on the guitar scene with the release of his Public Display Of Infection album back in 2011. Renowned for his fast legato licks, it would take more than just any guitar to withstand the abuse of Nick's fast playing and rigorous touring.

Presenting the Nick Johnston Traditional. While this may look like your standard "S" style guitar, the Traditional has so much more to offer.

Comprised of an Alder body paired with a Roasted Maple neck, the Traditional boasts a bright tone that really pops, yet offers a robust construction that maintains superior tuning stability. The Brass Circle inlays have a subtle appearance yet achieve uniqueness with an air of class. The Schecter Diamond Nick Johnston signature pickups give the sparkle expected with single-coils, but also possess an articulate definition that really excels with overdriven amps.

Other features we love on this guitar include the Schecter Locking tuners, which offer reinforced tuning stability without the need for a locking nut. The Diamond Vintage tremolo which projects a retro aesthetic yet holds the convenience and fluidity of a modern trem. Finally the 2-way adjustable truss rod offers impeccable neck rigidity. However, any changes to the action which may be needed on the road can easily be executed without the need to remove covers thanks to the heel access spoke wheel.

We're sure you'll agree there's much to love about this guitar, but take our word for it, it's an absolute joy to play!

Condition Report

At guitarguitar, we award our used gear a grade from 1-5 according to its overall condition, with 5 being the best.

This item was appraised as follows:

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.

Neck: 3 out of 5 - The frets have mild wear and/or pitting and may require profiling or replacement in future if the guitar is played extensively, although this work is not required immediately and the guitar plays and frets cleanly at present.

This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.

We take care to photograph any features, wear, tear, or modifications you might want to see before you make the decision to buy.

All of our pre-owned instruments are covered by our 12-month warranty and have been inspected, play-tested, and set up before resale.
