What we say:

The GS Mini has been a runaway success since it was released in 2010, selling more than 200,000 units worldwide! Despite it’s slightly cut down size, it’s a remarkably full sounding guitar that’s super easy to play and comfortable to carry around with you. No wonder it’s one of the most popular acoustics in the world!

Loosely described as a travel guitar, the GS Mini feels like a lot more. The scale length is actually 23 1/2 inches so it’s not really *that* much smaller than a standard acoustic. Its versatile Grand Symphony body size lends it to a large variety of playing styles so it appeals to a great number of players. There are now a variety of GS Mini models to choose from, each with it’s own combination of tone woods. This one has a solid Koa top with layered Koa back and sides. Tonally this is strong and warm with a slight natural compression that works with your technique to even out the dynamics of your sound in a highly satisfying way.

This particular model also comes pre-fitted with Taylor's own specially created Mini-e pickup. This custom pickup system translates every ounce of tone, detail and dynamic from your fingertips, strings and guitar wood to give the audience an accurate and fully realistic translation of your performance.

The Taylor GS Mini’s great mix of high quality, affordability and compact size has made it a favourite with all kinds of players from those moving on from their first acoustic to more experienced songwriters looking for a compact instrument to write on. Predominantly electric guitarists who want to occasionally play a quality acoustic love it too!

The GS Mini also comes with a custom made hard gig bag for protecting and transporting the guitar properly and safely. With all these benefits, it’s not hard to see why it’s been such a home run for Taylor.
