John Petrucci, Dream Theater's main visionary and long-time Music Man endorsee, has a healthy range of both USA made Music Man Signature models and Sterling models to his name. This wonderful 7 string model, the JP157, is based on Music Man JP models. This one also has a beautiful Figured Maple top over an African mahogany body. The wood is already beautiful looking so a simple transparent finish (Neptune Blue on this model) is all that's necessary to give this instrument a stunning visual appeal.

Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
