Introduced in 1979, the Rickenbacker 4003 has become an icon like few others. With players across all styles from pop to rock, the Rickenbacker 4003 has cemented itself a spot in music history. The standout looks of the bass manage to tow the line between vintage and modern, looking at home in any sort of style with it's variety of finish options. A very popular "Band" instrument, the 4003 oozes confidence and showmanship and has plenty of growl to back it up.

Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.
Neck: 3 out of 5 - The frets have mild wear and/or pitting and may require profiling or replacement in future if the guitar is played extensively, although this work is not required immediately and the guitar plays and frets cleanly at present.
Additional Information: Made in June 1980, this Rickenbacker 4003 in Burgundy has most definitely had an active life, but has been looked after. Great weight and tone, this monster snarls.
