What makes a good electric guitar?

An electric guitar is good when it feels and looks good to you. Keep in mind what you enjoy listening to and the styles of music that you will spend most of your time playing. What do your favourite artists play? Once you find something you like, have a play, see how it feels in your hands and listen to the different tones you can get from it. Is electric guitar easier to play than acoustic?

Short answer, no. Neither is easier or more difficult than the other. The key here is to play the instrument you are most passionate about. This will motivate you to keep practicing - and practice makes perfect!

What is an acoustic electric guitar?

It looks the same as an acoustic and gives the same natural sound, but it has the added ability to be plugged into an amplifier or for recording.
